I am happy with a lot of the food that I have eaten this week! It’s nice to be eating so much fruit and veg and seeing the incredible colours on my plate. I still treated myself a fair bit. I am not willing to give up the odd naughty thing and I had a night out on Saturday night.
Exercise-wise I didn’t do anything extraordinary. I made a point of walking everywhere rather than catching a bus. I joined a gym/pool and swam 70 lengths on Saturday and then in the week I walked 4 1/2 hours from Coogee to Bondi and back. (I had intended to walk one way and get the bus back but turns out it is a weekend only bus. No choice but to walk 10km back! Lovely day for it though!)
I lost 2.3 kg this week! (5 pounds) That is a lot of weight to lose though so I pleasantly surprised but also a bit dubious. I know from past experience that once I make a conscious effort to lose weight, it comes off quickly in week 1 and sometimes 2 but then it slows right down.
I still treated myself to a meal out at a Thai restaurant this week as well as a hungover cooked breakfast. I have no intention of being perfect for 100 days! Just small decisions everyday to be healthier! If I am losing weight, feeling better, getting fitter and stronger then I know I am on the right path!
