This week I lost 0.4 kg. I made a conscious decision not to go out drinking at the weekend, even though it was St Paddy’s Day on Friday night. I felt like I needed to give my body a break.
I went out running in the wind and pouring rain on Friday instead and managed 18km! Not bad considering I peaked at 10 km last week. I was so pleased with the run, I came home and signed up for Sydney Half Marathon.
My clothes are starting to fit better and I can see muscle again! It’s a great feeling. I’m in a positive cycle of motivation. As I get fitter, I am going further and burning more calories. It’s win win win. I am loving this 100 healthy days so much!
The major thing I am avoiding is sugary, processed or junk food. I normally have such a sweet tooth but at the moment I am not even tempted by desserts or sweets.
I say that but I do miss chocolate. I always do. But I am more inspired by how my body is changing to reach for the dairy milk. Long may it continue. (although i just typed dairy milk and now I am thinking about chocolate! ha)
